| Janine graduated from the Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle in 2007, opening Silver Creek
Cottage Massage in January 2008.
In addition to her extensive experience in treatment and
relaxation massage, she is certified in pregnancy massage, and also has experience in lymphatic
massage.
She has and still works in conjunction with several local chiropractic clinics treating referral
patients. She has also worked in the industrial and day and up-scale spa industries, most recently
at Willows Lodge Spa in Woodinville.

Both therapists have extensive experience in both treatment and relaxation massage, including:
- Spa techniques and treatments: (i.e. swedish, deep tissue, hot stone,
lomi lomi massage, etc.)
- Multiple treatment massage methods: (i.e. neuromuscular release - trigger
point/tender point), myofascial and positional release, hydrotherapy, cross fiber friction,
stretching/strengthening, etc.) for the treatment of injuries, such as whiplash and other motor
vehicle accident injuries, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, thoracic outlet and carpal tunnel
syndromes, sports and other injuries, chronic pain, etc.
They are both highly qualified in providing care for targeted areas of the body (i.e. back, neck,
shoulder, hips, etc.).
Many of our clients see both of them regularly and say their styles and abilities are very
similar in nature.

Shana graduated from Ashmead School of Massage in 2007.
Prior to joining Silver Creek Cottage Massage, Shana worked in conjunction with chiropractic
offices in Bothell and Mountlake Terrace, Massage Connection and Day Spa Salon Vici in Mill Creek and
continues at Willows Lodge Spa in Woodinville part-time.
